Finexio Refunds

The Refunds tab highlights payments that were refunded. Users can utilize the at-a-glance data to identify refunds or drill down into specific transactions. 

 

Access Refunds Screen

  • Click Client Reporting (on the left side panel).
  • Select Refunds tab (bottom of screen).

 

Filters

Each dashboard can be customized utilizing filters located at the top of each screen. 

All filters in the portal work together to refine the data displayed in your views. If you apply multiple filters, it's essential to clear them properly to ensure accurate results. 

To clear a specific filter, hover over the filter and click the eraser icon. This prevents a filter applied to one field (e.g. Supplier) from unintentionally affecting another field (e.g. Payment Reference ID). Clearing each filter individually, will provide precise and targeted results in your search.

 

$ Refunded Amount by Payment Method

The at-a-glance data under the $ Refunded Amount by Payment Method header. Will display refunded payments by payment method.

To capture a breakdown, hover the desired payment method.

View Payment Refund Explanations

  • Click Client Reporting (on the left side panel).
  • Select Refunds tab (bottom of screen).
  • In the Supplier field, click the dropdown arrow.
  • Manually enter the supplier's name, in the Search field.

 

  • Select the box next to the supplier's name.
  • Click the applicable refunded entry and select View Payment Details.
  • Locate the Timeline section.
  • Under the Payment Event Stage header, locate the Refund entries. 
  • The Payment Event and Payment Event Description columns, will display each action taken during the refund process.
