A Lite Supplier record holds the necessary details (e.g. the purchase order email address) for a supplier you intend to purchase from. These details are managed solely within Unimarket, by the community.
Lite Suppliers are created and managed by users with the Community Administrator or Community Supplier Administrator role.
If you have only one or two Lite Suppliers to add, manually creating them is typically easier than using the bulk CSV upload method.
Key Characteristics of a Lite Supplier:
The supplier does not have access to Unimarket, to manage their profile.
Buyers can still create and submit manual POs (non-catalog), which are sent via email to the address provided in the record.
Creating a Lite Supplier
To manually create a Lite Supplier:
Go to the Administration module.
Click Suppliers.
Select the Create Lite tab.
Click +Create Lite Supplier.
This action will open a pop-up window where you can enter the supplier's details.
Required and Optional Fields

| Company | Required | The legal name of the supplier. |
| Currency | Required | The 3-letter currency code (e.g., USD, AUD, NZD). |
| Order Email | Optional | If you want orders placed in Unimarket to be sent to the supplier. You must enter a valid email address here. |
| All other fields | Optional | Includes contact details, addresses, tax number, vendor number, etc. |
Completing the Process
To finish creating the supplier record, click Add.
If you wish to immediately create another Lite Supplier, click Add More.
Pro-Tips
Physical/Remittance Address: If you enter any part of a Physical or Remittance address field, the entire address must be valid according to the system's rules.
Buyer Group Names: Must reference a group that is already set up in the community (refer to the help article Setup groups).
Tags: Must reference existing tag names in the user's community (refer to the help article Setup tags).
