Connecting a Supplier

Users with the Community Administrator or Community Supplier Administrator roles, can establish a formal trading connection with a supplier within Unimarket.

Once a supplier is connected, the following occurs:

  • Your community can immediately begin trading with the supplier.

  • The supplier is added to your community's list of connected suppliers.

  • Your community will be listed as a connected client within the supplier's Unimarket profile.

 

Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting a Supplier

Follow these steps to search for and connect a supplier profile to your community:

Navigate and Search for the Supplier

  1. Go to the Administration module.

  2. Select Suppliers.

  3. Key in the supplier's name in the Search Suppliers field.

  4. Clear the State field (to ensure you search across all states, not just connected/disconnected).

  5. Select the magnify search icon (or press Enter) to execute the search.

 

Access the Supplier Profile and Connect

  1. Once the search results load, click on the desired supplier's name to open their profile screen.

  2. Click More Actions located on the supplier's profile screen.

  3. Select Connect from the dropdown menu.

 

Confirmation

An alert message will appear on the screen, confirming that the supplier has been successfully connected to your community.

Note: Only suppliers who are registered within the Unimarket system can be connected. If a supplier is not found, they may need to be invited or registered first.
