Cancel, Amend & Resubmit Requisitions

As a buyer, you have several options for managing the status and content of your requisitions, whether they are pending approval or still incomplete.

 

Cancelling Requisitions

Cancel an Entire Requisition (Pending)

Buyers of a pending requisition can cancel the entire request.

  1. Navigate: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

 

  1. Locate: Find the desired requisition > click the requisition number.

  2. Cancel: Select More Actions > click Cancel.

 

Cancel a Line Item (Pending)

You can cancel a single line item within a pending requisition.

  1. Navigate: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

 

  1. Locate: Find the desired requisition > click the requisition number.

  2. Cancel Line: Scroll down to the desired line item > select Actions > click Cancel.

 

Cancel a Line Item (Incomplete)

You can remove an item from a requisition that is still in the incomplete state.

  1. Navigate: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

 

  1. Locate: Find the desired requisition > select the desired requisition number > scroll down to the desired line item.

  2. Cancel Line: Select Actions > click Cancel > a pop-up box will appear to confirm cancellation.

 

Amending (Adding or Moving) Items

Add Items to an Incomplete (Standard) Requisition

You can add items from the same Supplier to a requisition that has been saved as Incomplete.

  1. Locate Requisition: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

  2. Access Supplier Store: On the View Requisitions screen, locate the desired requisition > select the supplier's name. Click More Actions > select Supplier Store.

 

  1. Add Product: Locate the desired product/service > select Add to Cart icon > click Shopping Cart icon in the upper right corner.

  2. Move to Requisition: Select Move dropdown > from the requisition options, click the desired incomplete requisition.

 

  1. Checkout: Select Task menu > click Tasks tab > select Incomplete Requisitions. Select the desired incomplete requisition > click Checkout as per the standard process.

 

Add Items to an Incomplete (Non-Catalog) Requisition

You can add Non-Catalog items from the same Supplier to an Incomplete Non-Catalog Requisition.

  1. Access Non-Catalog Form: Follow Step 1-2 above. Then, click the dropdown in the Create icon > select Non-Catalog.

  2. Complete Form: The Create a Non-Catalog Item screen will populate. Insert the required information.

  3. Move to Requisition: Select the dropdown in the Add to Cart icon > from the requisition options, click the desired requisition.

 

  1. Checkout: Follow Step 5 for the Standard Requisition above.

Note on Cross-Supplier Checkout: If your community has Cross-Supplier Checkout enabled, buyers can add items from any supplier to an Incomplete Requisition.

 

Move Items Between Requisitions or to Cart

You can move line items from one Incomplete Requisition to another. Or move them out of an Incomplete Requisition and back into your shopping cart.

  1. Navigate: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

  2. Locate Item: Find the desired requisition > select the desired requisition number > scroll down to the desired line item.

  3. Move Action: Select Actions > click Move. The Move Product pop-up box will appear.

 

  1. Select Destination: Click the dropdown in Move Product To field, to select the destination (another requisition or the shopping cart) > click OK.

 

Copying and Resubmitting

  • Purpose: Copying allows you to quickly create a new requisition from a past one that was either cancelled or declined by an Approver.

  • Procedure:

    1. Navigate: Go to the Marketplace module > click Transactions > select View Requisitions.

    2. Locate: Find the desired requisition > select the desired requisition number.

    3. Copy: Click More Actions > select Copy.

 

  1. Checkout: Copying the requisition creates an Incomplete requisition and takes the user directly to the Checkout screen for any required modifications before resubmission.
