Contracts eSignature is a premium feature that will assist contract teams accelerate agreement execution. By enabling seamless electronic signatures directly within Unimarket Contracts — no external platforms required.

Finalizing contracts today often means downloading documents, switching to external e-signature tools, and manually tracking signing status. A fragmented process that slows deal velocity and creates compliance risk. 

eSignature integrates industry-leading e-signature capabilities directly into Unimarket Contracts. Allowing staff to initiate, track, and complete signature requests without ever leaving their workspace. The result is a fully digital, end-to-end contract lifecycle with a standardized, auditable signing process and automatic storage of fully executed documents.

How It Works

  • Contracts created under Contract types with eSignature required enabled. Will automatically enter the Execution state upon completion (i.e. after workflow approval if configured, or immediately post-creation if no workflow applies).

  • Contracts created under Contract types without eSignature required enabled. Will skip the Execution state and proceed directly to Pending/Active.

Key Features

  1. Unified signature requests

    • Initiate signature requests directly from within a contract record — no downloading or re-uploading to external platforms. Contracts enter an execution state as the final step before going active (immediately after contract creation, or following an approval workflow if one is configured).

  2. Drag-and-drop field placement

    • Place signature, date, and other signing fields directly onto documents. No need to embed special syntax or formatting codes in document templates.

  3. Flexible signing configuration

    • Configure sequential or parallel signing, define recipient roles (including sign with witness), and customize the notification message, sent to each signatory.

  4. Client-branded signing experience

    • Signing emails can include the client's logo with configurable banner and button colors. Ensuring a consistent branded experience for external signatories.

  5. Real-time signing status tracking

    • See whether a document is Sent, Viewed, or Fully Executed directly on the Contract dashboard — no need to check an external platform.

  6. Automatic document storage

    • Once all parties have signed, the fully executed document and DocuSign audit trail summary are automatically saved back to the contract record.

  7. Standardized, auditable process

    • All signatures follow a consistent, compliant workflow with a complete audit trail.
