To maintain data integrity and ensure accurate global transactions, Unimarket applies two different variations of the ISO standard depending on the type of information being recorded:

Two-Digit Codes (Alpha-2)

Used for: Addresses

In any address field within Unimarket (for both Suppliers and Communities), the system uses the 2-digit letter code to define the country.

• Example: 

  • US for United States

  • NZ for New Zealand

  • GB for United Kingdom

Three-Digit Codes (Alpha-3)

Used for: Currency

When relating to financial transactions, tax settings, or supplier pricing, Unimarket utilizes the 3-digit ISO code to define the specific currency.

• Example:

  • USD for United States Dollar

  • NZD for New Zealand Dollar

  • GBP for Great British Pound
