The Estimated Price feature allows users to submit a Non-Catalog requisition when the exact value of the item(s) is unknown. Instead of a fixed price, the user specifies a price range for the item(s).

Availability: This feature is not available for suppliers that use order integration.
Enabling: The Price Range feature can be enabled by users with the Community Administrator role.

Price Usage:
The Estimated Maximum Unit Price is used for Approval routing.
The Estimated Minimum Unit Price is the value submitted to the supplier on the Purchase Order.
Procedure to Create a Price Range Non-Catalog Item
Go to the
Marketplacemodule > select the Create dropdown > click Non-Catalog.
The Create a Non-Catalog Item screen will populate.
Select the desired supplier(s).
Check the Use Estimated Price box.
In the Estimated Minimum Unit Price field, enter the lower price. This value will be sent to the supplier.

In the Estimated Maximum Unit Price field, enter the higher price. This value will be sent to the approver.
A graph symbol will appear on the requisition and order, signifying the assigned price range.
Insert other required information marked with a red asterisk, as required by community and supplier settings.
Adding Price Range Items to Cart
Once the Non-Catalog form is completed, select Add to Cart.
All desired items will be added to the Shopping Cart. Click the Shopping Cart icon when ready for checkout.

On the Shopping Cart screen, you can view the designated price range details:
Price Column: Hover over the graph symbol for the individual item to see the price range.
Subtotal Column: Hover over the graph symbol for the subtotal to see the price range for the entire line.
If needed, select Edit to change any information before checking out.
