This guide outlines the two primary methods for contract creation: Manual Setup and Transaction-Based creation.
Role Requirement
To create a contract in Unimarket, a user must be assigned the Create Contracts role. Additionally, users with the Community Administrator role can manage the module, perform bulk changes, and oversee contract settings.
Manual Contract Creation
To begin, navigate to the Contracts module and select Create Contract. You will land on the Counterpart tab and guided through a series of horizontal tabs, to input the contract data.
Creation from Requisitions or Orders
You can "shortcut" the creation process by starting from an existing transaction. This is useful for capturing a contract that was finalized as a result of a specific purchase.
From a Pending Requisition
- Go to Transactions > View Requisitions.
- Locate and open the desired requisition, by clicking its number.
- Scroll to the line item section and select +Create Contract.
From an Existing Order
- Go to Orders and locate the specific order.
- Click the order number to open the view.
- Select More Actions > +Create Contract.
