Enable Task Digest Email

The Task Digest Email is an automated notification tool designed to help users stay on top of their pending actions. When enabled, Unimarket sends a summary of outstanding tasks from the previous 3 months to ensure nothing is overlooked.

 

What is Included in the Digest?

The email provides a summary of the following task types:

  • Approvals: Pending Requisitions and Invoices.

  • Receiving: Outstanding receiving tasks for delivered goods.

  • Invoices: Invoices requiring user acceptance.

  • Drafts: Incomplete requisitions.

  • Others: Expense tasks and Supplier requests.

NOTE:

Email Limits: To keep the digest concise, it only includes order numbers and supplier names (not individual line items) and is limited to the 10 newest items based on the creation date.

 

How to Enable and Configure

Users with the Community Administrator or Community Features role can manage these settings by navigating to Administration > Settings > Settings tab.

 

  1. Enable: Scroll to the Tasks header and check the Enable Task Digest Email box.

  2. Set Task Digest Frequency: Choose how often your users should receive these reminders. All emails are triggered at 6:00 AM in your community’s time zone.

 

  1. Choose a Schedule:

    • Daily: Every weekday (Monday–Friday).

    • Mon/Wed/Fri: Three times a week.

    • Weekly: Every Monday only.

    • Custom: Choose specific days of the week and schedule the digest to send up to 6 times a day.

  2. Save: Click Save at the bottom of the screen to apply the changes.
