The location where a quote can be viewed is dependent on how the quote was initiated and submitted by the supplier. There are two primary scenarios:
Quotes Submitted in Response to a Customer Request for Quote (RFQ)
This applies when a customer first initiates an RFQ, and a supplier submits a quote in reply.
Notification: The user who originally submitted the RFQ will receive an email notification confirming that the supplier has responded.
Viewing Location: The user can view the submitted quote by navigating to:
Transactionsmodule > select Request for Quote.
Supplier-Initiated Quotes (Premium Suppliers Only)
This applies when a Premium Supplier creates and sends a quote directly to a customer without an RFQ being submitted first.
Notification: The quote is sent for the buyer's acceptance and appears as a Task in the Buyer's Task Menu.
