You can automate payment data uploads by sending a payment CSV file template to Unimarket via Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP). This process allows your community to update the payment status of invoices automatically, reducing manual data entry and ensuring financial records stay synchronized.
Prerequisites
Enable Feature: The payment upload feature must be enabled by Unimarket.
Support: Please contact your Account Manager to discuss this option and have it enabled for your organization.
sFTP Setup: Before you can start sending files, sFTP functionality must be established, including IP whitelisting and authentication.
sFTP Setup Process
Follow these steps to configure your secure connection:
Enable sFTP: Unimarket enables the sFTP functionality and provides a secure location for your CSV files.
Connection Details: Unimarket provides the specific command line required to connect to the sFTP server.
Authentication: You can establish authentication via an integration user password or a public key provided by your team (the preferred option).
IP Whitelisting: You must provide Unimarket with your IP address for whitelisting.
Note: Failure to whitelist your IP will result in a connection timeout.
Access: Once confirmed, you can connect to the sFTP server using your preferred sFTP client.
Loading Files
To ensure data is processed accurately, follow these requirements:
Sequential Uploads: Files must be sent in order.
Upload Completion: Each file must be fully uploaded (though not necessarily fully processed) before you send the next file.
Inbound Location: Send files to the designated inbound folder on the sFTP server.
Naming Convention: Payment files do not have a specific naming convention and should simply be sent to the corresponding folder.
Post-Processing: After the system processes the files, they are automatically moved to the processed folder and its relevant sub-directory.
Troubleshooting
If your community receives an email notification error stating a "Problem Processing File":
Log in to Unimarket and go to the Administration module.
Select File Processing to view the status of your uploads.
Hover over the "i" icon to see the specific error details.
Correct the error in your CSV template and re-upload the corrected file.
