These roles define what a user can see, edit, or communicate within created Bid Requests and RFPs.
Core Access Roles

| Read | Allows the user to view the Bid Request summary, selected suppliers, attachments, and requirements. Excludes access to comments but includes view access to Public Messages only. |
| Administrator (Full Control) | Allows the user to update the Bid Request summary, suppliers, attachments, and requirements. Includes full access to both Comments and Messages. |
Collaboration Roles
These roles are specifically designed for scenarios where multiple buyers or departments are working together on a single bid.
Collaborate: Add Requirements: Allows the user to add their own specific requirements to the Bid Request.
Collaborate: Add Requirements & Evaluations: Allows the user to add both requirements and the criteria for evaluating them.
Collaborate: Update Requirements: Users can add volume (quantity) to existing requirements but cannot add new lines.
Collaborate: Update Requirements & Evaluations: Users can add volume to existing lines and manage associated evaluations but cannot create new lines.
Communication & Message Permissions
The system distinguishes between internal, workgroup, and supplier-facing communications:

Internal/Workgroup:
- View Workgroup Comments: Allows the user to view Workgroup comments.
- View Internal Messages: Allows the user to view Internal Messages.
- Write Workgroup Comments: Allows the user to view and write comments to the Workgroup.
- Write Internal Messages: Allows the user to view and write messages to Internal members.

Supplier/External:
Write Public Messages: Allows sending messages to all collaborators and invited suppliers.
Notifications Write: Allows the user to post updates to the Public Notifications area.
View/Write Supplier Comments: Controls interaction specifically with the supplier's feedback or queries.

View/Write Private Messages: Restricts access to one-on-one or sensitive message threads.
Evaluation & Scoring
Can View All Scores: A specialized permission that allows a user to see the cumulative or individual scores assigned during the bid evaluation process.
