Release 6.6 contains a number of new features and fixes within Unimarket. Our focus has been on improving Contract Management, though further enhancements are planned in this area.
What's new in Unimarket 6.6
Allow Off Contract Spend - Default Value
Community Administrators can now choose a Default Value for the "Allow Off Contract Spend" setting. Administrators can apply this to new suppliers, or update all existing Suppliers.
If you need to apply this rule to only a select few, the setting is still available when you select Edit on an individual Supplier.
New Role - Contracts Administrator
Contracts A number of customers had requested the ability to amend a Contract when not the Owner. We have introduced a new Contracts Administrator role which has access to View & Amend Contracts and can make changes in Contracts Administration. This should help streamline the process and separate this function from Community Administration.
We are currently working on an enhancement to also grant any other permissions the Create Contracts role has, and aim to have that ready in our next release after 6.6.
Contracts - Last Modified Date & Modified By
Contracts now display the User who last modified them and the date of the change. This data supplements the current Amendment History.
Blanket Orders - Approvers can now edit Account Codes
Blanket Order approvers can now edit Account Codes on Requisitions prior to approving them. This should help approvers correct any coding issues earlier.
Other highlights in this release:
- When viewing a Requisition, Approval History now displays in hierarchical order.
- The 'Hazardous' product tag is now available in the 'Product Tag' search filter.
- Links shown on the homepage now take up a wider part of the screen.
Further enhancements to Contracts and Forms functionality is in progress. We are also investigating improvements to both our Out of Office functionality and Scheduled Reporting and should have updates on these areas in an upcoming release.
