Release 6.10
Release 6.10 contains a number of new features for Blanket Orders, Sourcing, Approvals and Purchases made on Contract. We have also resolved a number of bugs and made further security enhancements.
What's new in Unimarket 6.10
Blanket Orders - Edit Dates
We have improved the options for editing dates on Blanket Orders. Both the Creator of the Blanket Order and the Approver can now edit the 'Valid To' Date & the 'Alert' Date from the Actions menu:
Changes are also coming soon to allow users to Save their Blanket Requisitions before submitting them.
Sourcing - Visibility of Scores
In our Sourcing module, each evaluator of an RFX can submit a score to rate submissions from suppliers. A number of customers requested additional flexibility about when these scores are revealed. A new permission can be set at group and user level to show these scores which will help evaluators maintain independent scoring.
Organisations can keep scores hidden until the bid evaluation process is complete and scores can be reviewed collectively.
Approvals - Restrict the Proxy Approver to the same Organisation unit
A new configuration has been added to Approval Administration that limits the choice of Proxy Approvers to one in the same Organisation Unit. This option is off by default, but will provide more control for Organisations that need it.
Checkout Improvements
For those users that need to allocate their purchase to a particular Contract, we now show more information to help identify the Contract including the Contract Dates & Type.
Other Enhancements
- When viewing an Order with a large number of Order Lines, those lines are now paged.
- Further improvements have been deployed to the Purchase Order Email to align it with the recent PDF changes.
- Security enhancements have been made to our CSV uploads.
What's Coming
Catalog Review is still our key focus and the first set of changes will be included in Release 6.11. Suppliers will no longer be responsible for selecting Buyer Groups, and Community Administrators will have a new area to manage their Catalogues. This will pave the way for a more structured Approval Process in Release 6.12.
