Release 5.24
Release 5.24 arrives hot on the heels of 5.23 and includes great new features such as sharing for incomplete requisitions, user display names and supplier based tax.
New Features
Share Incomplete Requisitions
Many customers operate central buyer teams that work on orders on behalf of browsers and other buyers within their organization. However, in the past when a Browser reassigns a requisition to a Buyer, only that Buyer has the ability to reassign it to another Buyer making it difficult to hand over the requisition if needed.
The release introduces Incomplete Requisition Sharing which allows incomplete requisitions to be shared across any buyer within an organization unit. If this feature is enabled within your community it allows Buyers in the same organization unit(s) to view all incomplete requisitions within their organization unit and change the Buyer on the requisition to themselves or another buyer if needed. So if a Buyer goes on leave and the order needs to get placed urgently, another Buyer can take the requisition and check it out.
Better User Search
We all like to think our name is unique, however many customers have indicated it can be hard to find the person simply based on their name.
To improve this we have added the ability for you to supply us with an optional user Display Name which can be anything such as their username/name, their name/email or even a nickname. We then show this on screen when users are searched or selected to make it easier to select the correct person.
Supplier Tax Rates
For Australian and New Zealand customers, obtaining the correct supplier tax rate is critical to ensuring orders are raised with the correct rate. To tackle this Unimarket currently takes the tax rate from the supplier’s online registration, however in some cases this may not have been updated by the supplier correctly, while in other cases the Community default tax rate may not be correct.
This release adds the ability to manage the tax rate on a supplier so that the tax rate set on the supplier is accurate during checkout. It also means that you can update a supplier’s tax rate should they forget to do it correctly during registration.
Other Improvements
- We have improved the display of approvals on the requisition approvals tab.
- We have updated the inbound order integration for marketplace communities to include a Do Not Send flag.
