Release 5.17 adds the capability for suppliers to allocate different contacts to community organizations and we have also added support for large attachments.
Organization Level Supplier Contacts
If you are a customer with multiple organizations in potentially different locations you most likely deal with many outlets for a given supplier. Buyers in each of your organizations need to send their orders and communications to the appropriate supplier contact.
This change allows your suppliers to allocate different community organization contact points and remittance details so they can tailor communications specifically for each of your organizations.
A long standing customer requirement is the ability to upload large attachments for sourcing events, contracts and alike. To make this a reality we have been working under the covers to ensure we store and manage large attachments efficiently and this release provides the ability to upload attachments of up to 50mb throughout the entire application suite.
However, before excitement runs wild we would like to note that while the application now supports 50mb uploads you will still be bound by a 2 minute browser upload time limit. This should be plenty of time unless you plan to upload large files using a dialup connection from a remote corner of the globe!
We have a lot of great functionality coming including the ability to change the buyers on orders and blanket orders, drag and drop attachments and improvements to the invoice inbox.
