Release 3.42 introduces further development to our upcoming Contracts module which will be available to customers later this quarter. We have added a lot of new features and will continue to build on this functionality with feedback from customers that have registered for the beta program.
Link Spend to Contracts
The contracts module now provides the ability to link a supplier to the contract so that all spend from that supplier is visible on the contract.
Tracking Contract Funds
We have added the ability to track the contract funds and alert the contract owner when the funds are nearing consumption. We have also added security to allow contract owners to specify which organizational units can spend on the contract.
Search Contract Document Text
The Contract module search capabilities will search across all contents of the documents attached to the lead sheet.
Contract Members
We have added an additional level of security which allows the contract owner to specify other users who can Edit or View the specific contract.
Edit a Contract
We have added the ability for active contracts to be edited.
Contract Renewals
We have added the ability for the contract owner to setup one or many automatic contract renewals.
Add Multiple Counterpart Contacts to a Contract
We have added the ability to specify multiple contacts on a contract.
Automatic Date and Value Alert
We have added an alert to the lead sheet for the contract date and value which triggers an email to the contract owner.
Contracts Page filters
The View Contracts page has been updated to provide users with the ability to filter contracts that are due for renewal.
Other Changes and Fixes
- Added Department and Category to the Contract lead sheet.
- We have added a banner to the site for IE 7 users which alerts them to update their browser - we will remove IE7 support in the coming months.
- We have limited the Add to Cart button to the RFx creator only.
- We have changed the Order State on the View Orders page to be the Order Receiving State.
