The below change summary outlines the latest improvements in Unimarket, which have now been released to the Demo environment. Unimarket is happy to announce that the latest Unimarket features and fixes has been released to the Unimarket Demo environment. (This release is currently only available in Demo and we plan to have this release into the Production environment by next week).
New Feature - Allow the approval of requisition line items to be split across multiple account codes
This update contains a new feature to split a line item purchase between multiple accounts and has been released to Demo first to allow for previewing of the split account code functionality.
This new feature will NOT be enabled automatically so your current system has not changed. If you would like to have this feature enabled (either in Demo for testing or eventually in Production after testing), please contact us at support@unimarket.com and we can enable this for you.
If Unimarket is integrated with your ERP financial system, you will need to make some changes to receive the single line multi-accounting information. Please find the attached tutorial document with screen shots of the split line accounting process.
Interfaces to be tested
We have also made some integration changes that have been designed to be backwards compatible (i.e. the content of messages customers currently receive would remain identical with this upgrade), but we would still recommend testing, since we have made changes to the XML Schema.
Obviously customers choosing to use the new split account code functionality will get messages that reflect multiple account codes per order/requisition line.
The integration points that have been modified are:
- uxml validate-account-code-request – now optionally includes the account code distribution percentage
- uxml order-received-request – now optionally supplies the account codes, supplier id and product name
- uxml requisition-request – now sends multiple account-code-distribution elements per requisition line if they were split
- cxml OrderRequest – now sends multiple distribution elements per order line if they were split
- cxml InvoiceDetailRequest – now sends distribution elements
We aim to have this new version of Unimarket ready to be put in Production by the end of the week, and will be in Production next week. If you have any feedback/issues or if you require any additional information, please contact support@unimarket.com
